First you need to make sure the computer is clear of previous drivers, registry data and any apps. One the computer is clean, double click 'Install'.
I have a full license for Sound Unbound, so I download both apps from the store, else download Ultra and install the older SU.

You will need to disable store 'Auto-updates', if you intend to use the older SU, else it will get updated.
The older SU (Sound Unbound), contains a license, Ultra also has a license as a file.

The only issue I know of that can cause the system to stop working is some VPNs, as they block the license for some reason.

Policy (Realtek Policy), After I press save, you can apply the edits and press save again, then restart the computer.
Settings (DTS Settings), This is after you edit the files using FX configurator (copy device GUID).

1: Disable the device. 2: Select the device in FX, copy GUID. 3: Edit and restore the .reg file.
Note: For DTS Interactive, select it, then disable and repeat the restore.

End: Restart the computer.

i have spdif going from my computer to the pioneer av amp
i have hdmi going from the computer to the sony 4k tv

do i do the same on both??

if so, i have duplicated the reg files for each folder and added device id to stereo, multichannel and interactive for both spdif and sony folder files.

i have not installed the reg keys and policy installer yet as i am awaiting your approval if these are correctly setup. thankyou

Looks good, make sure you backup the current device registry, by using FX config, and on the right, backup. You can restore them in case of issues.
The stereo system is built for analogue, speakers-headphones, so to trick SPDIF and HDMI stereo, switch to speakers then back.

Multichannel mode will enable without triggering detection, on any device.

No don't worry bout the policy installer, I'm guessing Windows installed those updates before the driver was installed.
You might need to start again, but without internet, such as unplugging the cable.

After the driver is installed Windows should find no updates.

Looks like its working anyhow, dont worry for now, but if you get a bug, start again with the uninstall but without internet.

----

DTS DCH 6.0.9215.1 (Signed)

Features: DTS:X Ultra, DTS Headphones:X v2, DTS Interactive:X (APO4).

Main directory: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/9yrokjhyh2slx/DTS_DCH_Drivers
Apps: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/tk7ola8b5j6xt/DTS_UWP_Appx

To install-update the drivers, right click uninstall the device in 'device manager', tick 'delete driver', pnputil to remove the extension (see here).
In 'device manager' again, in 'system devices' disable 'High Definition Audio', I have two and its the first one, restart*, install, enable.

* Make sure you run CCleaner registry cleaner a few times, and remove any apps before restarting.

System Devices.png

----

See '\TOOLS\' for extra steps to unlock more features, settings, via the Realtek policy editor (RTK Device Tool.txt).
Enable 'Stereo Mix', mute the stream, then set it to play to the device, to keep the encoder always on.

----

Known issues: Some digital output devices are not detected properly with Ultra when in stereo output mode.
Workaround: Switch to speakers-headphones then back each startup (or use VB cable, other).

Some VPN's software may block the APO4 service, and need configuring.

DTS settings can be used to setup another device, or set SPDIF to stereo mode.

I'm not so sure you need a video, but if you still do let me know:

1. Unplug your network cable, or disable WiFi.
2. Disable your audio device via device manager, in system devices, I have two, its the second one, restart.

3. Open command prompt as admin, and type: pnputil -e
4. Look for Realtek, Sound, video and game controllers, Extensions, and take note of their OEM number (oem25.inf)

Here is an example, you will likely find many, remove all of them, even any modded drivers.

5. Type: pnputil -d oemXX.inf, to remove the drivers, extension, components.
6. Run a registry cleaner a few times, then restart your computer.
7. Double click 'Install' in the DTS DCH driver, then enable the device.
8. Restart for the final time, turn on your internet.

----

You can also right click the audio device and uninstall (tick delete driver), before disabling it.
