If you plug in speakers-headphones, after a full machine start, you might need to restart 'DTS APO4 Service'.
do the stereo and multi channel reg files need to be edited too with the same "copy guid"?

what are the class id from TOOLS rtk folder used for?

That's for non-Realtek HDMI, and extra tools for more avid users.
i reinstalled everything again.

i reconfigured fx config for hdmi and spdif - stereo, multi, interactive for both
added all 6 to registry

dts interactive in sound same as 2 installs previously. i cannot sellect for spdif, it will select for sony hdmi (nvidia 980ti hdmi output).

It should not do that unless you used the reg file on it, which you don't need to do, but it's ok.

Change the format to say 24bit/48khz, it will complain a few times then work.

ok so i have the reg files install with guid on all 6 for hdmi and spdif.
now my dts insteractive show on spatial and advanced properties of both audio hdmi and spdif. (check pictures dts interactive is shown on last 2 in properties tabs)
how do i remove the reg files from registry?
because i get failed to play test tone now on both

even though my amplifier show dts for spdif

24/48 format not supported on both devices

i think i found the reg files
what do i delete and leave alone

No don't worry about those as long as everything is working. The reset gave everything a new GUID.
The only thing you need to do is the reg on HDMI only, nothing else.

how do i remove/uninstall everything?

i posted this messasge on the 13th sept

????

Hey Dimmos!
Ferather is on vacay.
Go into ADMIN CMD.
write "pnputil -e" to list devices,
write "pnputil - d oemX.inf" to delete the driver(s).

is it the same as deleting from device manager? i just found out about it today and it is alot easier! in device manager just go to view and then "devices by driver" and then you can just right click the driver and delete it from there

pnputil is a more rigorous way.
You should start with deleting via device manager and then shitcheck with pnputil -e :)
