The Netflix series will continue in December. It now has a teaser.Henry Cavill presented a trailer for The Witcher series 2 at the WitcherCon stream today. It's available to view above.
In mid-June, Netflix presented a 10-second video. This video is much longer. It begins with Geralt and Ciri travelling to Kaer Morhen - low voices, big statements regarding destiny and a changing globe - and then things escalate as you would expect.
Today's announcement also included a release date. The Witcher season 2 can be viewed on Netflix from December 17, 2018.
We were also given a few details by the WitcherCon stream. We were told that Geralt will be confronted by a Leshy, a very evil forest monster. I am afraid that he won't be bathing in any tubs.
A Witcher anime movie focusing on Geralt’s mentor, Vesemir will be released by Netflix on August 23.
Vesemir is played by Kim Bodnia on the show. It also happens that Lauren Schmidt Hissrich's new favorite character in season 2 is Vesemir. She said that the scene with "Vesemir" and Ciri in a Kaer Morhen laboratory is her favorite scene from the season and took "an entire day to film."
The Witcher Season 2 will once again be available for viewing on December.
